Smart upgrade for clients installed on Network Drive

Hi,
I was told on the Open Mic call "Upgrading to Lotus Notes 8.5" that they will provide a link to technote to set up the Windows registry file to point to the network data folder for Smart upgrade to work on network drive (which will have bookmark, names, user.id and desktop file). Can you please provide the link for that tech note?
